[Verse] We gathered ‘round a quiet room, Hearts still heavy with the bloom Of memories that softly play, Like sunlight at the end of day. [Pre-Chorus] But then a smile begins to grow, A gentle laugh begins to flow, And in that moment, clear and bright, We find a little warmth, a light. [Chorus] Laughter comes before the tears, Breaking through our careful fears, In the echoes of the past, Joy returns to hold us fast. Laughter comes before the tears, Washing away all all our years, In this circle, love appears, Laughter comes before the tears. [Verse] Stories flow like river streams, Mixing sadness with our dreams, A quiet song, a whispered cheer, Turns the sorrow into clear. [Pre-Chorus] And with each smile that lights the air, We feel his spirit everywhere, A melody that lifts us high, A bright spark dancing in the sky. [Chorus] Laughter comes before the tears, Breaking through our careful fears, In the echoes of the past, Joy returns to hold us fast. Laughter comes before the tears, Washing away all our years, In this circle, love appears, Laughter comes before the tears. [Bridge] So here we stand, hand in hand, Finding peace, we understand, Though the skies may sometimes gray, Hope and love will light our way. [Chorus] Laughter comes before the tears, Breaking through our careful fears, In the echoes of the past, Joy returns to hold us fast. Laughter comes before the tears, Washing away all our years, In this circle, love appears, Laughter comes before the tears. [Outro] Laughter comes before the tears, Laughter comes before the tears...
