[Verse] Sun is hanging low, the sky’s a painted gold We spread the blanket out where the wildflowers grow Cool breeze in our hair, laughter floating free Jars of sweet tea clinkin’, under that big old tree [Pre-Chorus] Every little moment feels just right With you here by my side tonight [Chorus] Down by the riverbank, where the sweet tea’s flowin’ Songs in the air and the good times growin’ Raise your glass up high, let the music play Love and laughter, here we’ll stay Down by the riverbank, sweet tea in our hands Life tastes sweeter in this summer land [Verse] Sunshine on my face, your hand in mine The world slows down on this perfect time Birds are singin’ loud, band’s setting the pace Every smile’s a reason to stay in this place [Pre-Chorus] Every little moment feels just right With you here by my side tonight [Chorus] Down by the riverbank, where the sweet tea’s flowin’ Songs in the air and the good times growin’ Raise your glass up high, let the music play Love and laughter, here we’ll stay Down by the riverbank, sweet tea in our hands Life tastes sweeter in this summer land [Bridge] Come on, sing it loud, let the river know We’re here for good times, watch our love grow With the sun sinking low and our hearts in tune We’ll keep dancing ‘til the rise of the moon [Chorus] Down by the riverbank, where the sweet tea’s flowin’ Songs in the air and the good times growin’ Raise your glass up high, let the music play Love and laughter, here we’ll stay Down by the riverbank, sweet tea in our hands Life tastes sweeter in this summer land [Outro] Down by the riverbank, sweet tea and you Here’s to forever, and skies so blue
