[Verse] City lights like sparkles on the roof, Laughing loud but keeping cool, You’re eyeing me, I’m eyeing you, But we won’t say a word, no, not a clue. [Pre-Chorus] Fingers touch, then pull away, Dance with me, but don’t stay— We’re playing games, we’re on the game, But baby, I’ve been waiting all the same. [Chorus] We don’t care, we don’t care, We’re not falling, no, we’re not even scared. We don’t care, we don’t care, But I’m already yours—don’t you know that's rare? We don’t care, we don’t care, Yeah, we don’t care… But we’re breaking our own rules tonight. [Verse] Sunglasses on while the sky turns gold, Whispers in the breeze, “You’re never cold.” You say “It’s just a party,” But your heart’s racing—so am I. [Bridge] We’re not meant to win, we’re not supposed to say That the moment we’re dancing, we’re lost in the fray. But I can’t pretend, no, I can’t pretend— This rooftop love’s too real to pretend. [Outro] We don’t care… We don’t care… We don’t care… But I’m already yours.
