[Verse] Grey skies hang low, the rain begins to fall Engines hum a slow, uneasy call Blinkers blinking in the misty glow Caught inside this tide with nowhere to go [Pre-Chorus] But then a melody breaks through the sigh A voice so light, it lifts us to the sky [Chorus] Sing it out, let the storm fade away Windows down, we’re dancing in the rain From silence, we create a brighter day Traffic jams turn into our parade Oh-oh, oh-oh, sing it loud, come what may Oh-oh, oh-oh, chasing clouds away [Verse] Raindrops race like secrets on the glass Time stands still, but the moments pass A chorus growing louder on the street Strangers become friends with every beat [Pre-Chorus] And in the thunder, hear that sparkling sound Our song’s a light that lifts us off the ground [Chorus] Sing it out, let the storm fade away Windows down, we’re dancing in the rain From silence, we create a brighter day Traffic jams turn into our parade Oh-oh, oh-oh, sing it loud, come what may Oh-oh, oh-oh, chasing clouds away [Bridge] Turn the key, let the music set us free No more waiting, only harmony Stormy skies, but hearts are soaring high Together now, beneath the open sky [Chorus] Sing it out, let the storm fade away Windows down, we’re dancing in the rain From silence, we create a brighter day Traffic jams turn into our parade Oh-oh, oh-oh, sing it loud, come what may Oh-oh, oh-oh, chasing clouds away [Outro] Oh-oh, oh-oh, chasing clouds away Oh-oh, oh-oh, chasing clouds away
