[Verse] Sunshine sliding through the trees, Grandma’s got her dancing keys. Wraps her hands in the summer heat, Clappin’ time to that backyard beat. [Pre-Chorus] Every snap, every tap, She’s setting the groove, no time to nap. [Chorus] Clap your hands, grandma’s got the plan, Feel that rhythm goin’ down, across the land. Sweet and sassy, with a funky little jam, Backyard birthday, everybody’s clappin’ hands! [Verse] Kids are laughin’, dogs all spin, Grandma’s grin, you know she’s in. To that funky, timeless sound, Joy’s the treasure that we found. [Bridge] Oh, she’s lighting up this sunny day, With every clap, she leads the way. From the porch to the grassy stand, We ride the groove, it’s all so grand! [Chorus] Clap your hands, grandma’s got the plan, Feel that rhythm goin’ down, across the land. Sweet and sassy, with a funky little jam, Backyard birthday, everybody’s clappin’ hands! [Outro] Clap along, clap along, Grandma’s groove is strong and long. Clap along, clap along, In this backyard birthday song!
