[Verse] Rollin' up to grandma’s with a suitcase full of cheer, Cousins runnin’ wild, uncles steppin’ near, Every time the music drops, you better see the scene, ‘Cause every single uncle’s got his eye on that tambourine. [Pre-Chorus] Granny’s bakin’ pies, but the spotlight’s on this scene, Fingers snap, feet tap, where’s that jingle-jangle queen? [Chorus] Tambourine battle, who’s gonna claim it? Every uncle’s got the moves that can’t tame it, Clap your hands, stomp your feet, feel the gleam, It’s a family funk fight for the tambourine! (Tambourine fight, tambourine fight) Throw your hat in, step into the light, (Tambourine fight, tambourine fight) Let the jingle-jangle shine so bright! [Verse] Uncle Joe’s got swagger, Uncle Mike’s got flair, They’re both grinning wide, tossing rhythm in the air, A funky little showdown, everybody’s on the scene, And nobody’s walking off without that tambourine. [Pre-Chorus] Granny’s clapping loud, singin’ harmony, Bass line thumpin’, it’s a wild family jamboree. [Bridge] Shake it left, shake it right, Every uncle’s feeling right, Pass that tambourine tonight, ‘Cause family funk’s the light! No matter who’s king or queen, We all groove around that tambourine. [Outro] Family funk fight, all night, tambourine tight, Pass it round, keep it down, groove it loud, feel that sound!
